Big Mauna at the Marquise

** Please note the building is currently undergoing exterior work. The balcony is currently closed until the end of June, 2024 and there may be construction noise Monday - Friday from 7.30am – 7.30pm and Saturday from 9am-5pm. The pool is also closed due to the construction work with an anticipated reopening date of June 14th, 2024. However, the hot tub is now open during the following hours Saturday 5pm-10pm and Sunday 10am-10pm. We have reduced rates accordingly - a great opportunity for those who are planning to be out of the home between these hours!

Welcome to the Big Mauna - or "Big Mountain". Inspired by the Hawaiian culture that celebrates our connection to the land, we invite you to sit on your own big mountain during your visit to Whistler. Big Mauna, located at the Marquise complex, sits slopeside to Blackcomb Mountain, allowing you stroll across the street to your ski in and out access. In the summer, it's a quiet retreat that is close enough to anything Whistler has to offer. The recently updated interior that's been thoughtfully furnished and decorated with modern yet warm accents, coupled with the building's relaxing hot tub and pool, makes this home the ideal getaway for you to connect to our "big mauna". 

Although home's interior is updated and modern, the design consciously retains that cozy ski chalet vibe. We've ensured you'll have everything you need to prepare home meals on days you're not out enjoying Whistler's food scene. You will also have access to the building's hot tub and pool, the perfect place to relax after an epic day of skiing or mountain biking. After your hot tub, relax by the fireplace and cozy up on the couch for some TV (cable and streaming capabilities included).

** If you're visiting Whistler with another family or group of friends, make sure to check out our Symphony Suite, located in the same building (The Marquise). 

ROOMS:
- Room 1: Primary bedroom, King bed, plenty of storage for clothes, ensuite to bathroom, air conditioning in the summer
- Room 2: Living room with memory foam Queen size pull-out couch, 42" SmartTV with cable, plenty of fans for the summer

LOCATION:
The Marquise is located in Whistler's Upper Village, the perfect location for ski-in/ski-out access across the street with access to the new Blackcomb Gondola. A short drive up the hill from the Four Seasons, the Marquise is a 5 minute walk away from a number of pubs and restaurants in the Upper Village, or a 12-15 minute walk to the main village.  In the summer, bike trails to Lost Lake Park and the weekly Farmers Market are right on your doorstep. If you're looking to visit other parts of town, the free bus shuttle stop is right outside the complex. You'll be steps away from Lost Lake, the Valley Trail, the Fairmont Golf Course, and an extensive network of cross country bike trails. If location is important but you prefer a quiet and more luxurious environment, then this is the ideal place for you.

PARKING:
Underground secure parking is available at the complex for $20/day per vehicle (parking lot clearance is limited to 2.05m or 6’0”).
